What am I currently working on?
To achieve my goal of entering the video game industry, I chose to enroll in the course “Post-Secondary Technical Course for Video Game Production for the Consumer Market and for the Sectors of Industry, Services, and Culture” at the FITSTIC Foundation in Bologna. I am currently attending the classes and, at the same time, I continue to deepen my knowledge of the field by reading books and practicing with the software.
In addition to the course I am attending, I am working on two projects. The first is an online course that allows me to learn how to use Unreal Engine 5 and program in C++. Currently, I am developing a prototype for an RPG, a practical experience that is teaching me various features of the engine. The second project is personal and focuses on improving my skills as a Game Designer, UX Designer, and Unity programmer. What are my passions?
Music has always been one of my greatest passions, alongside video games. I started playing the piano and singing as a child thanks to the music school of Primiero (TN), and I’ve never stopped since. My love for music led me, as I grew older, to study at the F. A. Bonporti Conservatory in Trento, where I completed the preparatory piano course. Although I didn’t continue further, those years gave me incredible experiences: playing as a soloist, but also in duets, trios, and even in the orchestra, allowed me to grow not only as a musician but also as a person, learning the importance of teamwork and dedication. Today, I continue to nurture music as a hobby that brings me joy every time I sit at the piano or sing.
I am a native Italian speaker and I obtained a C1 level in English, but I thought: why not go further? Another great desire of mine is to visit Japan someday because I’ve always been fascinated by its culture, breathtaking landscapes, and, of course, video games! Although this dream has not yet come true, in the meantime, I am learning Japanese with the teachers from the Nipponica association in Bologna. Thanks to them, I was able to obtain the JLPT N5 certification.
